The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra performs Honorary Academy Award-winning director Blake Edwards’ 1964 film, The Pink Panther, screened to a live performance of Grammy® and Oscar®-winning composer Henry Mancini’s iconic jazz score.
Starring Peter Sellers, Robert Wagner, Capucine, and Claudia Cardinale, the film follows the travails of Inspector Clouseau as he travels from Cortina d’Ampezzo to Rome in an attempt to apprehend “The Phantom,” the notorious jewel thief believed to be after a rare treasure: the Pink Panther diamond belonging to Princess Dala.
