The Bristol Ghostbusters
Location: Southwest England
The Bristol Ghostbusters are an enthusiastic group of friends with a passion for interacting with other fans of the Ghostbusting universe. Though many of the member have been in costume since long before the group was founded, the franchise was formally established in 2012, primarily acting as a means to carry out fundraising activities for a variety of charities. Since then, the team has become a familiar sight on the sci-fi convention circuit in the southwest UK, and became one of the first European franchises to become officially recognised by Ghost Corps, Sony’s very own official Ghostbusters division. Their logo features a pirate, as Bristol has a storied history with piracy, including being the supposed birthplace and home port of the infamous Blackbeard!

White Rose Ghostbusters
Locations: Yorkshire, The Peak District & The East Midlands
The White Rose Ghostbusters were initially formed in 2017, as the Sheffield City Ghostbusters, and have grown steadily since then. In January 2019 it was decided that in order to reflect both our growing membership, and the wider geographic area of events we were attend, to change our name to the White Rose Ghostbusters, after the White Rose of Yorkshire where we are all based.
We have taken parts in events and conventions both big and small and are always looking forward to finding new projects to be part of and new ways to explore our fandom.
In 2018 we were very proud to have taken part in our local Radio Station’s annual charity drive which raised nearly £30,000 for their Cash4Kids Charity to help local children.
We were also very proud to have been an integral part of an annual event called Out Of This World. The 2018 event saw over 30,000 people descend on Sheffield for a fun, free, family day to celebrate Halloween.
Our own chosen charity is Friends of Ferals, which is a Sheffield based cat welfare charity, as we love being able to use our love of Ghostbusters to raise money for worthwhile causes.
